A heartwarming moment unfolded just past noon on May 8 in Obihiro City, Hokkaido, when a motorist spotted a mother duck and her ducklings being targeted by crows near Obihiro Shrine.

The filmer, who shared the video under the handle @mama214155, stopped their car to chase away the crows and noticed the duck family trying to cross a busy road on their way to a nearby river. Concerned for their safety, the filmer called the Obihiro Police Station to ask if anything could be done to help.

The police responded immediately, and two officers arrived on the scene. Together, they safely guided the duck family to the nearby Obihiro River.

The filmer expressed deep gratitude to the officers and the drivers who stopped their vehicles to allow the ducks to cross safely.
