On May 12, in Miaoli County, Taiwan, continuous heavy rain caused the mountainside to loosen, leading to several large boulders suddenly tumbling down the slope and crashing onto the road.

The falling rocks affected a man riding a motorcycle and a black car carrying four people. A passing white SUV was also struck by the dense barrage of stones, resulting in vehicle damage. The driver quickly got out and made an emergency call for help.

According to officials, the incident caused one minor injury and road blockage due to the fallen rocks. Fortunately, none of the vehicles were directly hit by the massive boulders.

After the incident, local authorities promptly activated an emergency response and began rescue and clearing efforts.
