US, Bakersfield: Bakersfield 175-Acre Fire Out in Kern County After Early Morning Battle
Bakersfield, United States - June 24, 2025 06/24/2025 02:44 am GMT-0700 BAKERSFIELD, Calif. – Early Tuesday morning, the Kern County Fire Department responded to reports of a fire located one mile east of Oilfield Road. Fire crews arrived on the scene and employed bulldozers to combat the blaze. Access to the fire was initially challenging due to its remote location. Helicopter 407 was deployed to map the fire, which covered an area of 175 acres. By 6 a.m., fire crews reported that they had stopped the forward progression of the flames. Fortunately, no structures were damaged, and there were no reports of injuries.
