US, Bakersfield: Bakersfield 1 Dead After Being Struck By Vehicle
Bakersfield, United States - October 04, 2025 10/04/2025 12:35 am GMT-0700 BAKERSFIELD, Calif. – A pedestrian was killed early Saturday morning after being struck by a vehicle, according to preliminary reports. The collision was reported around 12:35 a.m. near State Road and Airport Drive. Emergency crews arrived to find one person in the roadway who had suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. Officers conducted a field sobriety test as part of the investigation. At the time of the incident, no arrests had been made. The Bakersfield Police Department and Kern County Fire Department responded to the scene.
