Heartwarming dashcam footage shows the generous parents of the birthday boy handing out meals on the roadside in Saraburi, Thailand.

They can be seen sitting in the back of a black Toyota Hilux while their child stands proudly between them.

A large banner reading 'It's my birthday, free giveaway' prompted curious passersby to approach.

The filmer said: 'When I stopped at a red light, I noticed people stepping out of their cars and motorcycles to walk toward the parked pickup truck, so I pulled over behind them to take a closer look.

'I was touched by their gesture, it warmed my heart to see the parents teaching their child about charity, even on a day meant to be all about them.'
