US: Forest Rangers Carry Injured Hiker Down Mount Jo on Litter
Pitcairn, United States - July 01, 2025 On July 1, Forest Rangers responded to a call about a hiker with a leg injury on Mount Jo. A Lake Placid Paramedic provided pain management at the scene. Four Forest Rangers carefully carried the injured hiker downhill using a litter strapped to their backs. After the difficult evacuation, the hiker was transported by Lake Placid ambulance to a hospital for further care.
