Phoenix, United States - August 09, 2025 08/09/2025 02:19 am GMT-0700 MESA, Ariz. – Mesa firefighters and police officers were dispatched to the Power Road overpass at the US 60 to reports of a single-vehicle traffic accident. First responders arrived and located a pickup truck with significant damage in the southbound lanes of the overpass. According to information gathered at the scene, at least one of the occupants was partially ejected from the pickup truck during the collision. An additional occupant required to be extricated from the truck by firefighters. Firefighters transported both to a local trauma center, where they are listed in reportedly serious condition. Police closed southbound lanes of Power Road at the overpass as they continued their investigation.
