Phoenix, United States - October 31, 2025 10/31/2025 03:09 am GMT-0700 MESA, Ariz. – Troopers with the Arizona Department of Public Safety (DPS) responded to a two-vehicle collision on the eastbound lanes of the Red Mountain Loop 202 just east of the Loop 101 early Friday morning. Troopers arrived and located a pickup truck and a Tesla that had collided, sustaining severe damage. Both transition ramps from the northbound and southbound Loop 101 to the eastbound Loop 202 were closed, and all eastbound traffic on the Loop 202 was forced to exit onto the Loop 101 in either direction. At least one person was transported by Mesa firefighters to a local area hospital in unknown condition.
