Brazen woman tries to dodge parking fee by forcing barrier open with her shoulder
On 13 August in Kunming, Yunnan, a woman, unhappy with the high temporary parking fee, tried to avoid payment by forcibly pushing back the barrier gate.
CCTV footage shows that at the car park exit, when the automatic barrier came down, the woman first braced it with her shoulder, then forcefully pushed it back into place. The barrier dropped twice during the process, but each time she forced it upright again.
Car park staff said that although the barrier was not damaged, the woman’s actions amounted to deliberately evading payment and violated the car park’s regulations. The matter has been reported to the police.
