Hilarious moment woman gets stuck mid-air whilst trying to climb rising arm barrier
On October 12, at the entrance of a residential community in Ganzhou, Jiangxi, a woman attempting to climb over a rising barrier found herself unexpectedly trapped in mid-air when the gate suddenly lifted.
Surveillance footage shows the woman, carrying a shoulder bag and wearing a white dress, hurrying towards the gate blocked by the barrier. Eager to get in, she decided to climb over.
However, just as one leg was over and she was preparing to swing the other over, the barrier suddenly rose, trapping her in mid-air. Her thigh was tightly pinched between two horizontal bars, leaving her unable to move. About a minute later, the gate lowered, and she was finally freed.
According to the property staff, the community restricts access to outsiders, and only residents can enter by facial recognition. At the time, a student living in the community scanned their face to enter, which caused the barrier to lift, inadvertently trapping the woman. The barrier automatically lowers after a set time, and while the woman was frightened, she was not injured.
