This is the heartwarming moment a boyfriend made an emotional proposal at a pop concert, sparking cheers from the crowd.

Greyo Esguerra Jr proposed to his partner, Lore Mae Saura, mid-song at Filipino OPM artist TJ Monterde's concert in Zamboanga, Philippines.

Footage shows Greyo beaming as he kneels in front of the unsuspecting woman, enjoying the live music on August 17.

Their friends can be heard screaming in delight as they film the surprise on video.

Moments later, Lore Mae turned her head to look at the ring being held by her boyfriend, visibly shocked, placing her hand over her mouth as she stared at the jewellery.

Realising what was happening, she burst into tears after Greyo asked her to marry him.

Concertgoers nearby pointed at the couple to inform the singer, and applause and cheers erupted throughout the stadium when the spotlight focused on them, while Lore Mae stood in disbelief.

She briefly sat on the ground, tears flowing down her cheeks, before gathering the courage to say yes.

The ecstatic man placed the diamond ring on her finger and rose for a warm, emotional embrace.

The singer then congratulated the couple after the song.

Lore Mae said: 'We are both fans of Filipino singers TJ Monterde and KZ Tandingan even before our relationship, and we decided to watch their concert. We have been in a relationship for 2 years and 6 months, and he decided to propose.

'Greyo and I are both Christians, and I feel blessed to share the same faith with him. That was also one of the reasons why we became fans of TJ and KZ—because we share the same beliefs with them. Their life stories are a blessing and encouragement to both of us.'
