Los Angeles, United States - September 01, 2025 09/01/2025 02:39 am GMT-0700 HOLLYWOOD, LOS ANGELES, Calif. – On Sunday morning, firefighters from the Los Angeles Fire Department responded to reports of significant flooding in the Hollywood neighborhood. At the intersection of Romaine Street and North Sycamore Avenue, emergency responders discovered a large water main break at an address in the 1000 block of North Sycamore Avenue. The Los Angeles Department of Water and Power was requested to shut off the water to mitigate further flooding. In the meantime, the Los Angeles Police Department's Hollywood Division was on site to manage traffic and ensure public safety around the affected area.
