Exclusive- Ladder, dad, and a diamond python: Bronte’s snake catch goes viral with 30K views
Snake catcher Bronte has gone viral after posting a video of her daring removal of a massive Diamond Python from a property in Newcastle, Australia, a feat that required her dad’s tallest ladder and a healthy dose of courage.
The Instagram clip, which has drawn over 30,000 views, shows Bronte responding to a callout where the python had slithered high up onto a structure. Standing just 160cm tall (5'3"), Bronte enlisted her father’s help — and his biggest ladder — to reach the elusive reptile.
Diamond Pythons, native to coastal New South Wales, are non-venomous but can grow up to 3 metres long and pack a powerful bite. Though generally docile, they’re known for nesting in rooftops and rafters, making removals tricky and often dramatic.
Bronte’s calm handling and confident catch have earned her praise across social media.
