Los Angeles, United States - September 15, 2025 09/15/2025 12:10 pm GMT-0700 SANTA CLARITA, Calif. – A violent road rage confrontation in Santa Clarita left one man hospitalized with slash wounds to his hand Monday afternoon. The incident erupted just after noon outside a Home Depot near Newhall Ranch Road and Rye Canyon Road, where 911 callers reported two drivers pulling over and confronting each other before the altercation turned bloody. Witnesses told dispatchers one man pulled a knife and slashed the other during the fight. Firefighters, EMS crews and Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station deputies located the injured man near McBean Parkway and Baywood Lane in Valencia. He was bleeding heavily from severe hand wounds and was rushed to a trauma center in unknown condition. Deputies say the suspect fled the scene, and the search for the slasher remains ongoing.
