US: Police Officer Save Baby After Choking Scare

Upland, United States - September 29, 2025 On 29th September around 2 p.m., Upland Police responded to a 911 call reporting a baby not breathing near 13th Street and Campus Avenue. Officers arrived within minutes to find the infant unresponsive and immediately began clearing the airway and performing CPR. As paramedics arrived on scene, the baby began breathing again and was transported to a hospital. Doctors determined the infant had likely choked and briefly went into cardiac arrest. The baby is currently recovering in the hospital and is expected to make a full recovery. The Upland Police Department praised the quick response of both their officers and dispatchers. They also commended the family for calling 911 at the first sign of distress, highlighting the importance of vigilance in emergency situations.
