US, Los Angeles: Santa Clarita LAPD Officer Killed In Fiery Wreck Graphic Content
Los Angeles, United States - November 08, 2025 11/08/2025 02:14 am GMT-0800 SANTA CLARITA, Calif. – A man, confirmed by the Los Angeles Police Department to be an off-duty officer, was killed early Saturday morning when his vehicle slammed into a power pole and erupted in flames, authorities and sources at the scene said. The fiery crash was reported just after 2:14 a.m. at the intersection of Cinema Drive and Bouquet Canyon Road, where arriving firefighters found the vehicle fully engulfed in flames. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene. While deputies investigated the deadly crash, a separate driver plowed through the active crime scene perimeter. Deputies arrested the woman on suspicion of driving under the influence. LAPD personnel later arrived at the location. The identity of the crash victim has not yet been released pending notification of next of kin. Bouquet Canyon Road remained closed for several hours as investigators from the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station and traffic detectives processed the scene.
