India: Railway Police force SI's Bravery Prevents Tragedy: Passenger Saved from Moving Train in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh
RPF SI Kartik Mishra, posted at platform number two of Prayagraj Junction, saved the life of a passenger on Saturday by showing presence of mind.
The passenger, trying to board a train from Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyaya (DDU) to Fatehpur, became stuck between the train and the platform. An RPF SI wasted no time in saving his life. The passenger's family expressed their gratitude.
The incident occurred at Prayagraj Junction around 8:24 a.m., where a passenger was trying to board train number 63237 DDU-Fatehpur, which was going to Fatehpur, on platform number two.
While boarding the train, the passenger lost his balance and fell into the gap between the moving train and the platform.When SI Karthik, posted there, saw the youth, he ran towards him and pulled him out and saved him from falling into the line/gap between the train and the platform.
The entire incident was captured on CCTV cameras installed on the platform. The passenger's family expressed their gratitude after his life was saved.
