Poor Baby Elephant Struggles to get a drink
This funny incident took place at a water point in the Kruger National Park, South Africa. The life of a young baby Elephant can be a real struggle and filled with many challenges along the way. This video is a classic example of just that. It shows a little baby Elephant having difficulty in trying to just have a drink with the rest of the herd. First, the little one cannot reach to the top of the concrete reservoir that is filled with water. He comically puts his trunk up against the wall, smelling the water. He then tries moving his mouth against the wall in the hope of getting a drink in that way. All attempts was a failure of course. The heard then suddenly turned away from the reservoir and started running towards an open water source a hundred yards away. Little Elephant seized the opportunity and he ran with all his heart. Most of the adults outran the youngster. When he arrived at the water, he found that there was no real space for him around the water source. That’s then when all his frustrations came out in one big scream. After his little tantrum, the herd immediately took note of the little one and they let him in between them so he could finally have his long awaited drink.
