This video shows a very energetic hyena playing around with his friends and having fun in the water. Hyenas are normally not keen swimmers. On this sweltering hot day five hyenas decide it is time to relax and cool down in a small patch of water right next to the road. The older hyenas in the family all enjoy a relaxing time besides one little youngster. The young hyena can’t sit still and really wants to play. Biting and splashing he goes around to a few of the family members trying to get a buddy to play with. He soon realizes that all of them are boring. He goes off for one last splash, puts his head under the water and washes off his face. He then suddenly turns around, rushes out the water and disappears into the bush at full speed.
