An old-fashioned bicycle simply isn't quite as cool as a motorbike – unless you have this simple device that gives it a roar that will have heads turning down every street.

Built by 11-year-old Mikky, the invention involves a plastic drink bottle, a piece of plastic slotted through the mouth, and some tools to attach it to the back wheel of the bike. The bottle amplifies the sound created, and her simple effort results in a bike that generates the roar of a motorbike when ridden.

The Australian inventor recently appeared on Little Big Shots Australia, and now showcases her creations on her YouTube channel.

Australian inventor and maker, Mikky, age 11, builds a simple, yet very effective device to make her bicycle sound like a motorbike!
Simply using a plastic drink bottle (to amplify the sound, and look like an exhaust pipe) and a piece of plastic (to make vibrations when the spokes hit it) she uses a variety of tools, and with her dad's help {Jacob Strickling) builds and tests the device.
For such a small effort, the results were amazing and the bicycle really did sound like a motorbike!
Following her appearance on 'Little Big Shots Australia' as a little inventor, Mikky has started her own YouTube Channel, 'InventWithMikky' where she invents and builds difference creations.
