Firefighters were called after the 2 years child's cries were heard coming from the bottom of a narrow 40-foot well in Tulasichaura village of Baripada Municipality under Mayurbhanj district of Odisha. The 2 years baby named “Uttam” son of Rabindra Das.

According to sources,  the 2 years baby has been felt down accidentally into 40 feet deep well when he was playing. After searching, his family came to know the incident and immediately informed to the fire department. Fire department rushed to spot and starting their rescued operation. After 5 to 6 hours fire personals rescued the baby from well and send to the hospital immediately. Baby is in the critical.
