Corona FD responded to a crash with a possible ejected party on the Sr91 E west of I0-15. Arriving crews located a total of seven vehicles involved with a male party laying unresponsive in the roadway. The victim was transported to a local trauma center in critical condition and later pronounced deceased. All vehicles involved sustained major damage. At this time, the total number of parties transported and extent of injuries is unknown. A Marine Corps hat was found in a mangled up silver Ford Focus, the vehicle that sustained most damage out of all those involved in the crash. It's unknown if the owner of the hat was the driver of the vehicle or a passenger and it's unknown if there was a Marine in the vehicle involved or if so, how badly injured the Marine was. More details are available in CHP INLAND CAD LOG 0041. According to the log, the RP vehicle was rear ended in traffic by another vehicle that slammed into several other cars.
