Hemet Fire and PD responded to a traffic collision into a pole at the intersection of Santa Fe St and Florida Ave. Arriving crews located a light pole that fell onto a building. Officers located the bumper of the vehicle responsible for the crash at the scene with the license plate attached. A search for the responsible party was about to begin when a call of a head on crash with multiple injuries was reported on Stetson Ave just west of Lyon Ave . A total of three vehicles were involved in the second crash, all with major damage and with at least one victim requiring a physical extrication. The driver that caused the collision was the same individual who crashed into the pole earlier. A dog was inside one of the vehicles when the crash occurred. Animal control was called at the scene for the injured animal. At this time the extent of it's injuries is unknown.
