A funny video has emerged of a man using a simple hack to cross an inundated road in northern India.

The incident took place on Sept. 29 in Patna city of Bihar state.

Visuals show a man on an inflatable couch moving along the flooded road.

The man is seen peddling with his legs and making the couch sail smoothly, even as people around him struggled.

The ingenious hack not only surprised onlookers but also gained their approval as a commuter was heard asking the man if he could click a selfie with the latter.

Meanwhile, floods have taken a heavy toll on the state.

According to reports, at least 25 people have been killed so far in the last three days in various rain-related incidents.

Patna has been deemed the worst affected amongst all the districts in the state.
