This is the shocking moment tourists saw a man attack his girlfriend outside a bar. This happened at about 5pm on Street 148 in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, on September 11.

The filmer said: ''The guy in the motorcycle helmet started arguing with the woman sitting at the bar then threw a couple of punches and kicked her in the head. The scuffle carried on and there were about six girls and one guy who work at the bar and know the woman. They didn't do anything to stop it. There was also loads of tuk tuk drivers and security staff from the hotel opposite watching. All Cambodian locals. Nobody intervened. Ok, so I filmed it. But no way was I getting involved with them, I don't know them and it's not my country. If her friends weren't helping her, why would a foreigner? Anyway, he calmed down and she rode away on the back of a motorcycle with him.''

The incident did not appear to have been reported to the police at the time and no officers attended the scene.
