A group of Indonesian farmers had a fight on their hands earlier this week as they attempted to remove huge wild python which was stuck in a gutter.

According to a witness, the animal's body was too fat to crawl through the gutter and it became trapped.

After fifteen minutes of grappling with the 6-metre reptile, they poured some soap around the animal's body which helped it slide free from the gutter.

The python was released in a nearby forest.
