The number of victims of natural disasters in West Sumatra reached 98 people
As of Sunday, November 30, 2025, the death toll from the natural disaster that struck West Sumatra Province reached 98.
Meanwhile, 93 people were reported missing.
All recovered bodies were immediately taken to the West Sumatra Regional Police Bhayangkara Hospital,
the main post for examination and reconciliation of victims with their families. "To date, 24 victims have been identified and handed over to their families. The bodies received came from the Agam Regency disaster, the Padang Panjang landslide, and the Padang City flood," said Police Commissioner Harry Andromeda, Head of the Bhayangkara Hospital.
Meanwhile, according to West Sumatra Provincial Government data, thousands of West Sumatra residents have been forced to evacuate due to loss of homes. The West Sumatra Provincial Government has declared a state of emergency.
