Dramatic moment passengers slide out using bloated raft after flight makes emergency landing in central India

Passengers inside an aircraft breathed a sigh of relief collectively after it made an emergency landing at an airport in central India's Chhattisgarh.

According to reports, the aircraft left for Mumbai city in western India from Bhubaneswar airport in eastern India's Odisha on Nov. 8.

Visual showed passengers slipping down using a bloated rubber raft.

Reports said the plane was carrying 89 passengers and crew members.

It made the emergency landing at Raipur airport.

An official said AIC 670 of Air India airline made an emergency landing due to shut down of one engine. 
Operations at the runway were also stalled for two hours following the incident.
However, according to the latest report, the snag-hit plane has been towed and the airport is functioning normally.
