A lioness and her cub were spotted in a residential area in Gir Somnath, Gujarat on Friday (March 20).

In search of water, footage shows the wild animals drinking from a roadside borewell.

According to local reports, this thirst encourage the lioness and her cub out of the Gir Forest National Park of Gujarat.

Fortunately, the situation did not escalate and the pair returned into the forest after drinking.

The video shows, a lion and its cub were drinking water from a roadside borewell near the forest.

Hot summers are hitting the Gir Forest of Gujrat, making animals thirsty.

This thirst made the lion and its cub come out of the forest in search of water.

Fortunately, the situation was calm, and no rage happened.

The lioness and its cub went back to the jungle after satisfying their thirst.
