As the country mourns the demise of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput, a sand artist from northern India's Bihar paid tribute to the former.

The visual came out of Chhapra city in Saran district on June 16.

According to reports, the actor took his own life at his Mumbai residence on June 14.

The news sent shock waves across the country and triggered a debate about the importance of mental health.

The actor’s battle with depression for the past six months and his tragic death, has highlighted the importance of mental health awareness, care and the need for reassurance that there will always be a help.

Taking cognisance of these struggles, a Bihar based sand artist, Ashok Kumar, decided to build this sand art as a tribute to the talented young man.

Kumar has described the incident as a great loss for Bollywood. The actor's death also left thousands of fans heartbroken.

He wanted to give a message pertaining to mental health problems across the entire spectrum of Indian society.

Ashok, a fan of Sushant himself, said that in this hour of grief, the whole nation's sympathies are with the actor's family and they are all praying for the peace of his soul.
