LGBT activists in Cape Town forced to vacate property after eviction order
Over two weeks ago, a group of LGBTQI activists calling itself #weseeyou collective occupied a property in the upmarket beachfront suburb of Camps Bay in Cape Town.
The activists chose the property as a safe haven because of constantly being threatened and victimised in their communities.
The property owner approached the high court in cape town for an eviction order which was granted on Friday.
This footage was filmed on October 8.
