Deadly Australian Tiger Snake displays weird behavior
Australian Tiger Snakes (Notechis scutatus) are amongst the world’s most venomous reptiles and are members of the Cobra family Elapidae.
This large, brightly colored Western Australian Tiger Snake (Notechis scutatus occidentalis) was on a paved road above Lucky Bay in Cape Le Grand National Park.
The filmer said: "Although it had no obvious injury, it was behaving strangely, moving backwards and gaping. It was not aggressive, and after filming we moved it off the road to prevent it from being run over."
