A luxury segment sports utility vehicle (SUV) is being used as a garbage pickup truck following dissatisfaction experienced by the vehicle's owner with respect to after-sales service in eastern India's Jharkhand. The development took place in the state capital Ranchi. 

Visuals shot on November 17 shows a man scooping up garbage from different areas in the city and filling up the trunk of the BMW luxury car with it. 

According to the owner of the car Prince Srivastava, he bought the brand-new BMW X1 sDrive20d from the authorised Ranchi showroom of the brand over a year ago. However, one of the tires of the car suffered a puncture only after 10 days worth of usage. 

Upon taking the car to the service centre, they advised him to use the spare car tyre and did not agree to replace it, following which the car's alignment became skewed. In order to get his vehicle up and running again, he had to spend money from his own pocket.

He says that he is extremely unsatisfied with the service centre. He adds that he will collaborate with the other BMW owners and will promote 'Clean India Mission' and will also lodge a complaint against the dealership.
