Panic ensued amid the locals as the water extended up to 30 feet from a borewell in central India's Madhya Pradesh on January 4. The incident took place in Uldan village in Banda of Sagar district.

A video witnessing the incident features water continuously arising from a borewell amid the fields. A crowd of villagers clusters near the area to behold this encounter.

The entire pasture gets drenched as the water rises to almost 30 feet. A local geologist suggests, not to go near it as gas keeps spewing from the well, which can be serious until it gets under control.

The borewell was around four years old and almost 465 feet deep. Professor PK Kathal of the Department of Geology at Sagar University claimed that the well is emitting flammable gas which can be fatal.

He strongly advised the villagers not to burn anything near it until the situation is repressed. As the pressure of the gas increased inside the ground, the water began coming out as a splash. When the pressure of the gas will decline, the water will stop scaling.
