Forest officials rescued an 8-feet-long python and released it into the wild in central India's Madhya Pradesh on February 5.

The incident took place inside a school's premises in Tilli village, located in the Sagar district.

Visuals witnessing the incident features the officials scanning the bushes for the snake. They use a stick-like object to get hold of the reptile and carefully place it in an iron cage. Later, the rescue team brings the caged snake to an open field amid the forest cover. They take the snake out with the help of a long stick-like object and place it on the ground. However, the python curls itself at the end of the stick and refuses to let go. The team manages to free the snake, who slowly zigzags its way into the woods.

A team belonging to Sagar's south forest division rushed to the spot upon being alerted about a python sighting. It took the officials two hours to rescue the 8-feet-long reptile that was later released into the forest cover of Amet. The rescue team included forest officials Chandrapratap Singh, Akash Pali, Lakhan Patel, Hiralal Yadav, Deepak Raikwar, and others.
