The accused stand behind the authorities while they explain the details of the case. Moreover, the stolen items retrieved from the miscreants lie on the surface of a table, enclosed in separate plastic bags.

A group of six miscreants broke into Vimal Jain's residence situated in the Nutan Vihar Colony in the Dhonga region on the night of February 16. The thieves stole cash worth Rs 8 lakh ( USD 11,040), silver jewelry and utensils weighing 1.5 kg (3.307 lbs), eight gold rings, one gold ornament, CCTV's Digital Video Recorder (DVR), and a set-up box from Vimal's house.

Following this, he filed a complaint in the Tikamgarh police station. Upon being alerted, a forensic science laboratories (FSL) team, a search dog squad, and a fingerprint specialist rushed to the spot and began investigating the case. The Inspector General (IG) of police Sagar also announced a Rs 25 thousand (USD 345.02) cash reward for whoever arrests the unidentified miscreants.

However, upon further investigation, the police officials questioned Ranu Jain, who resides in front of Vimal's house. Ranu revealed that he, along with five others, broke into Vimal's house and conducted the robbery. The police retrieved cash worth Rs 5 lakh 18 thousand (USD 7,148) and the stolen ornaments from the accused.

The officials arrested Ranu Jain, Shri Ram Yadav, Rahul Lodhi, Bhanu Pratap Pandey, and Neeraj Jain. While the five accused have been apprehended, the search for the sixth miscreant is still underway.
