Tobacco items worth $6,744 seized in southern India

The Special Enforcement Bureau (SEB) officials seized illegal tobacco items worth Rs 5 lakh (USD 6,744) in southern India's Andhra Pradesh on June 20. The incident took place in Rayachoti, a town in the YSR Kadapa district.

Visuals feature the cops posing with the tobacco items they seized from a car. The two smugglers sit on the ground in front of a heap of the seized items. The miscreants were traveling with a vehicle full of the banned items when the cops inspected their car and arrested them.

The tobacco items were being smuggled from Karnataka to Rayachoti. The SEB officials seized the vehicle, along with the banned goods worth Rs 5 lakh (USD 6,744), and arrested two people in the case.
