Moment woman cop saves couple from slipping under train in India

A Railway Police Force (RPF) woman constable saved two passengers' from falling under a running train at Tatanagar station at Jamshedpur in eastern India.

A local resident, Anshu Kumari, had gone to see off her family who were leaving by Utkal Express on March 19. She was sitting inside the coach with her kin when the train started moving. Anshu hurried to get off and slipped into the gap between the platform and train. A male relative who was trying to help Anshu get off the train also stumbled and fell with her.

Woman constable Suparna Mandal, who was on duty, saw their plight and ran to pull them to safety with the help of a bystander. Another woman constable took a nasty fall when she got off the moving train while trying to intervene in the mishap.
