A kitten was saved after it was found hiding inside a motorcycle engine in traffic in Indonesia.

Another motorist who was stopped beside the bike heard the animal crying and told the rider about the cat before they saw its tail. He then began pulling it out of the motorbike.

After only a few minutes, the kitten was freed and was adopted by the rider who first saw it.

The moggie’s tail stuck out of the two-wheeler while the rider was waiting for the red light in Bandung regency, West Java.

Rudi Rustandi, who was riding his motorcycle behind the two motorists, said: ‘The poor kitten was saved in a few minutes. We were so relieved that it was not hurt.’
