Robbery has become a flourishing business amid the pandemic in southern India's Andhra Pradesh on July 10. The incident took place in Ramavaram in Anaparthi in the East Godavari district.

CCTV footage features the bike-borne miscreants hatching their wicked plan to rob a woman blissfully sitting on the stairs, unaware of the impending drama ahead. After a while, one of them approaches her to seek help, following which he snatches a chain from her neck and abandons the scene on the motorcycle strategically parked adjacent to them.

The duo of goons sought help from the lady by asking her for directions to an address during the daytime, following which they took advantage of the situation and fled after snatching her chain. A case has been registered against them in Anaparthi police station while an investigation is underway.
