97 lbs of cannabis seized in southern India
The city police seized a huge consignment of cannabis in southern India's Andhra Pradesh on July 14. The incident took place in Pendurthi in Visakhapatnam.
Visuals feature the officials apprehending the smugglers involved in transporting marijuana from one place to the other. They further recover several KitKat sacks filled with narcotic items from the culprits and keep a check on them.
Cops were on the move at the junction and caught the accused moving in the auto and recovered 44 kg (97 lbs) of cannabis from them. A case has been registered against the smugglers while an investigation is underway.
