Robbery has become a flourishing business amid the pandemic in central India's Madhya Pradesh on July 26. The incident took place in Mangawan in the Rewa district.

CCTV footage features the robbers disguising themselves as customers at a jewellery shop. They further look at various ornaments like earrings and show fondness to buy them and engage the shopkeeper in a conversation. During this time, one of the four women grabs the earrings and hides them, without getting noticed by anyone.

This gang of women used to target shops in Umaria and Katni district before they started robbing people in Rewa district. Besides, this time they laid their hands upon Vishwajeet Jewelers located in Mangawan town and stole earrings weighing around 3.5 grams (0.007 lbs).

At first, the victim, identified as Vikram Tiwari, counted and saw something missing, following which he frantically began to search for them and immediately informed the cops in Rewa. However, the women have not been caught while an investigation is underway to nab them.
