Indian police parade 101kg of cannabis and alleged smugglers in southern India

On September 3, police paraded around 101kg (224 lbs) of cannabis and two alleged smugglers seized in southern India's Andhra Pradesh.

The seizure happened in Ravulapalem, East Godavari district.

Video shows the contraband stacked up into a wall, with the two accused kneeling in front of it, their faces covered.

The alleged suspects were caught by a team made up of the Superintendent of Police (SP) Rabindranath Babu, Amalapuram Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Y Madhavreddy and Ravulapalem, Circle Inspector (CI) V Krishna, along with Ravulapalem SIP Buzzibabu, staff, intermediaries, and Deputy Tahsildar.

The case is still being investigated.
