Julius Malema campaigns in front of 2,000 students in Cape Town
EFF (Economic Freedom Fighters) leader, Julius Malema, today addressed a huge crowd of students at the Bellville campus of the Cape Peninsula University of Technology. Malema has been campaigning in the Cape Town metro area since yesterday as local government elections edge closer on 1 November.
Malema spoke out against South African police for their heavy handedness in responding to student protests, accusing the police of arming themselves to shoot black students.
Referring to the ruling ANC (African National Congress), he said the enemy is weak and when the enemy is weak it must be treated like a snake buy chopping off its head and burning it.
Malema said the DA (Democratic Alliance) is serving its own people while the EFF is for everyone. Malema once again reiterated that his party is not against white people but that it fights against white supremacy, white arrogance and white monopoly capital.
