A giant snake accidentally slithered its way into a village and got captured in central India's Madhya Pradesh on October 27. The incident took place in Jera village in Jaisinagar in the Sagar district.

Visuals feature the enormous snake devouring a jackal amid the field of the village in broad daylight, ensuing panic among those beholding the occurrence from a distance. After a while, the rescuers arrive and they capture the reptile with the help of a stick while it curls up on the ground. Fortunately, they manage to catch and confine the giant creature while a huge crowd gathers to witness the incident.

The snake entered the farm and preyed on a jackal strolling in the vicinity. Upon noticing this horrific situation, a person alerted other farmers, and a serpent expert rushed to the spot to rescue the creature. The jackal died after being swallowed while the snake was captured and released in a forest.
