Car crash hit three men sitting on a sidewalk in Indonesia caught on CCTV. One died at the scene.

In CCTV footage on MH Thamrin street, Tabanan Regency, Bali, the accident occurred on Monday, December 20.

The chronology accident began when the black car driven by I Nyoman Wira Adana (60) was traveling at high speed from Kediri (north) to Tanah Lot (south).

Arriving at the scene, the car lost control, turned left onto the sidewalk and hit three men who were sitting on the sidewalk.

Tabanan resort police chief, Adjunct Senior Commissioner of Police Ranefli Dian Candra, said the car hit three men, one of the victims died at the scene, two men suffered injuries taken to hospital.

"The driver of the car with the initials WA is suspected of being sleepy, and he has hypertension. Before leaving, he admitted that he forgot to take his medicine," the Chief of Police, AKBP Ranefli added.

The driver was detained and questioned by the traffic police. As a result of his negligence, he faces a maximum sentence of 10 years in prison.
