Hero cops save woman from slipping under train in eastern India

A woman almost slipped under a moving train while boarding it in eastern India's Jharkhand on April 15. The incident took place at the Tatanagar Railway Station.

Visuals feature the woman passenger trying to board the departing train. Within moments, she slips and almost slides into the gap between the locomotive and the platform. Fortunately, alert RPF officials spot her and pull her to safety.

Railway Protection Force (RPF) constable Shalu Singh and Pushpa Mahato rescued the woman, Vinita Kumari, just in time, averting a major tragedy.
