Elderly passenger trying to board moving train slips, saved by cop in eastern India

A police officer saved the life of a passenger who slipped while trying to board a moving train in eastern India's Jharkhand.

The incident took place at the Bokaro Railway Station on April 28 while the passenger was trying to board the Janshatabdi Express.

Visuals showed the man hanging to his dear life after slipping while boarding the train. Fortunately for him, a cop and another person notice him and successfully manage to pull him to safety.

The cop has been identified as Manoj Kumar, an Assistant sub-inspector at the Railway Protection Force (RPF). Together with station vender Dabloo, he saved the passenger, identified as Arvind Kumar, 53.

The cop was patrolling platform number one at the time of the incident.
