A frightened stray dog was rescued after it was found with its head jammed in a hole in a cement wall.

The one-year-old male dog was found struggling to free itself after poking its head through the narrow opening in Chachoengsao province, Thailand, on May 23.

Volunteers from the Chachoengsao Rescue team tried to pull the pooch free but it kept snapping at them out of fear. They had to tie its muzzle with rope before pushing its head through the small hole.

Upon being freed, the aggressive canine pounced on one of the volunteers, who jumped out of the way just in time to avoid being bitten. The stray then quickly limped away to freedom as the team laughed off the incident.
