Vigilant cops rescue woman who slipped while boarding train in northern India

Two alert cops saved the life of a woman who slipped while boarding a train in northern India's Haryana.

The incident took place at Sonipat Railway Station of the eponymous district on July 7.

Visuals showed a woman trying to board a moving train when she suddenly slipped and got dragged by the vehicle. The alert cops rushed towards the victim and pulled her away from the train.

Speaking to Newslions, Inspector Yuddh Vir Singh said that Railway Protection Force head constables Suman and Narendra saved the woman who slipped while trying to board the moving train.

Travelling to Tikamgarh, she was going to board the Gitanjali Express that had reached platform number one at Sonipat Junction.

The woman was later sent to her destination on a safe train.
